The long
awaited album "Anima Noir" is finally finished. Tell me; in your own
words how you describe this stuff and which are the differences with
your previous albums?
Anima Noir is the final result of an hard and long work of research
and study.. technique and emotions walk together to create a new
conception of the TDV sound, modern, strong and melancholic at the
same time…
We decided to develop it and to go on to the next step of a new
vampirism starting from our decadent atmospheres and going to
something completely different without loosing our gothic style.
"Desire of Damnation" was a double cd , one side with the Addiction
Tour Live and the other one with 4 new songs and some remixes..it was
the right introduction to Anima Noir
"Pleasure and Pain" was the first step towards a new conception of
vampirism and sound.
It was the zero point between our past and future.. we moved from our
symphonic black metal roots to become a gothic metal female fronted
band..
After 4 years from the release of "Pleasure and Pain" we are more
mature and we had time to find a stronger balance between everything,
"Anima Noir" is the next step of our creativity, you can find a
stronger impact cause we exactly know what we want to say and we think
it’s our best cd at all.
Please, speaks us of the cover art of the new album, I think it is
different to the previous releases. Some special meaning?
We decided to create something really introspective but elegant at the
same time…the rose made with blood means poetry, seduction, life and
death, energy, damnation, resurrection…an elegant and old style
moniker is on the top but something is screaming in the back…every
rose has its thorn….
Are you preparing a video clip to promote "Anima Noir"? Maybe
something similar to the animation "Bring me back"? Maybe something
similar to Tim Burton's style?
I think that it would be very good. We have not yet decided about
a videoclip..
"Rain" from The Cult is the great song... uhm Why did you decide to
play a version of this song?
Because we love The
Cult! Any other possible reason?
The band has
participated in several festivals of the metal and the gothic scene.
Do you perceive some difference between both publics? With which
public you feel happier?
Every country has got a different public and they show us their love
in different ways, more or less every bodies always participate in a
very active way to our gig ..it never happen that people stay calm
without doing anything and just listening to our music.. ..we cannot
say what is better, we can only thank them to support us and we will
always do our best to give to our fans great shows, everywhere!
I know that you knife your arms to let to drink your blood to
your fans. Reason? Do you making it? Did you have problems with the
Italian authorities?
I never slash my skin just for the show and, because of that, it’s not
something that I do every time .. I don’t know if I’m going to do it
again live cause I really don’t know what I’m going to do on stage
next time.., it’s just me, it’s my art and my blood that I give to my
fans , I cannot give them more than this, I’m giving them my life
cause this band is my life and we’re here because of people that loves
our band.
I really respect this thing and I believe in the power of blood.. this
is my rite, I'm real… I’m pure and and I share this energy with the
people close to me.
I’ve got problems everywhere about it not only in Italy.
I Cannot give my blood to anyone in the UK… the clubs forced me to not
do that checking if I had blade, knife or something like that with me
before the show… and in Germany the same.. last summer to the battle
of metal festival the police was looking for me one day before our gig
to be sure to find me. I know that
you never plan to marry. Do you continue thinking the same thing? What do
you think of the relationships between man - woman (love)?
I can hate someone with all my soul but I can love in the same way.. I’m
pure , I hate compromises, I will marry only the man that I will love for
the rest of my immortality and not because the society says that you must
do it…
Anyway, I really don’t like to talk about my private life.. it’s my secret
world.. my refuge.. it give me the energy to go on in the best way

Everything is so fast and we don’t have time to take care about all the
important things of this short life.. humanity is so blind and empty and
God is their best lie…everything must disappear.. everything always go
back to dust.. also the memories.. and we scream against the time that
goes away bringing with him the people we love..and we react to all these
reflections with a powerfull music full of energy.. full of life..
