Forever Slave is a gothic doom metal band from Spain, a not very productive country in this style músical, but them making what they feel and like, recently they have released their demo CD entitled "Resurrection", about the disc speaks us the beautiful Angellyca, vocalist of the band.
Introduce us to the Forever Slave's world...
Lady Angellyca: Forever Slave was founded in 2000 by Servalath and me. Soon
after the band got in contact with others musicians and Forever Slave had been
born.
Hate, their first mini demo (2000) and Schwarzer Engel (2001) were determining
its special music style. The copies were limited in Both Cds. In these years
they played in many tours and gigs. In May 2004 Forever Slave released
Resurrection, our present demo cd, where Kristian Gundersen (SIRENIA) and Elena
Rizzo collaborates.

The name of the band bestirs me a little, why did you opt for that name? Which is their concept of the freedom?
Forever Slave have a lot translations depend on the context, your own context.
That´s why we liked it.
With "Resurrection" demo CD I was surprised pleasurably, although some things could have been better
(vocals)... are you happy with the result obtained? Is there already the interest of some records label? Are the reviews
positive?
The mourning, which I should record my vocals parts, I was ill and I had fever.
We couldn´t left the recording for another day. So I do what I could make in
that moment. Yes, several record labels are interesting in the band, though we
want to decide anything quickly. Yes, the reviews are usually good here (in Europe)
I find interesting the song Erzebet Bathory's, explain us a little about the
following text: "According to history, Satan will come back, He is a woman,
her name is Bathory..."
The phrase mean that Satan is E. Bathory. How Jesuchrist is the son of God, for
example.
Las letras de sus canciones tratan temas como el lamento, la muerte, el amor entre otros aspectos, algunas también son algo seductoras... cuál es la intención de las líricas? ¿Cómo concibes la oscuridad?
La historia de Resurrection es sobre un personaje real: La condesa E. Bathory. Aunque este personaje está muy relacionado con el mundo vampirico, yo intenté decir la "verdad" de la historia. Yo usé texto históricos de su época… Resurrection es una historia acerca del amor y el odio entre E. Bathory y Ophelia (uno de sus sirvientas
Most of the Gothic metal bands (included you) it use for their covers art
girls pictures. Which do you believe the reason is? Do you think that is more attractive? Is
the beauty important for you?
Each band can do what they want. Our story is a opera where all characters are
women. That´s way there are a woman (myself) in the cover.
 How so important the music is in your life, do you imagine your life without
being active part of the dark music world?
I love the music. And no, I can´t imagine it. That could be boring.
Would you like to record an album having the participation of a real symphonic orchestra? As it made Lacrimosa or Therion...
That could be amazing. I have played with orchestrals though out of metal
music.
I don't know much of the scene Gothic Metal of your country, I only remind Gothic Sex... Do you speak us a little more than the current Gothic Metal scene
from Spain.....?
In Spain gothic metal scene is 0. There aren´t a lot bands. People prefer
spanish rock and heavy metal.
For those that didn't still listen Forever Slave, describe us musical and lyrically your last work.
Forever Slave mixes classical music played with classical instruments: violin,
piano, operistic voice, choirs,… and metal music, played with instruments to
play metal music like electric guitars, bass and drums. Metal and Classical
music are our two lovers and this is our stigma.

Our future plans are an European tour and we are going to start to film a video
